Altar Servers
The Altar Servers support the Priest during the Mass by carrying the processional cross and candles, holding the incense and missal, assist the Priest when he receives gifts from the people and ringing the bell at important points during the service. All servers wear the medal of the Guild of St Stephen, the international organisation which represents them.
Altar Server's Outing 2011
St John Bosco's Altar Servers were treated to a day out at Thorpe Park to thank them for their hard work throughout the year. They all had a wonderful time riding the big rides and water rides and getting very wet!

Altar Servers Outing 2010
To thank them for their hard work this year our Altar Servers were treated to an afternoon of bowling and laserquest . The afternoon began with an hour of bowling where they split into three teams and competed against each other to try and bowl the most skittles over.It was really fun and there were some brilliant bowling skills displayed and even a few strikes. This was followed by a game of laserquest which everyone really enjoyed. After all the activity we were all ready for a sit down and something to eat.

Altar servers outing 2009
To say thank you to our altar servers for all their help throughout the year, Fr Chris took them on an outing to Thorpe Park. It was a hot and sunny June day and they all enjoyed the rides - some which were very scary and others very wet!
