Due to the fact that Marina is not well the meeting on Wednesday 19th October has been postponed and it is hoped to be re scheduled to Wednesday 26th October @ 1930. We will be discussing Jane Eyre & Touching The Void. Don't forget if anyone reads something good and they would like to submit an article for the newsletter to let Marina have it no later than Monday 17th.

We have also planned a Christmas Party for the evening of 21st December 2011. All partners and kids are welcome. We will do nibbles and Mince Pies.

Please come along and join us at any of our meetings if you are interested and don't forget it is not a pre-requisite that you have to have read the book in order to come.

Also please note that Chapter One Bookshop, in Woodley Precinct (Tel: 0118 944 8883) are supporting us, and giving us discount on our books. When purchasing your books you do need to mention that you are part of the SJB Bookworm Reading group or Marina's name, and the staff will know. Marina is really keen that we support our local book shops and would urge you to browse and buy from there. Just think you will be saving on postage, bus fare, and also it must be saving on carbon footprints, especially if you are within walking distance or combine with your weekly shop / visit to the precinct.
