First Holy Communion and Reconciliation for children:

Communion brings us into the fullness of our life, in Christ, and requires us to be spiritually ready before receiving it.
Picture
This programme is open to children in Yr. 3 and above.
This year, 2021, the children will follow a programme called ‘I Belong’ from Redemptorist Publications.
Preparation for Reconciliation (Confession) is incorporated into this programme.
Due to the pandemic, the programme will begin after Easter and will conclude in a First Holy Communion Mass hopefully before the end of the school summer term.

Initially, some lessons may be via zoom, moving to classes taking place in the church as we proceed through the programme. For zoom, lessons, parents must be present.

Please email the parish office:  stjohnbosco@portsmouthdiocese.org.uk with your interest by 1st April so that supplies can be ordered. You will be sent an application pack and virtual meetings consent form.

Many thanks,
First Holy Communion Team
