Bereavement Support Group

When someone dies it is often a time of great sadness, mourning and reflection. As Christians we must remember to rejoice that the Lord Jesus Christ has won the great victory over death and made it possible for us to pass through to new and eternal life.
The parish Bereavement Support Group (BSG) mission is to provide love, support and prayers to parishioners and families who have suffered the death of a loved one. This period can also be a busy time when arrangements have to be made and friends and relatives notified. It is the intention of the BSG to assist with some information which may be helpful. If you need help and support in this area, or are looking to support the parish by joining the BSG, please email the parish office [email protected] or ring 01189 693 423 and your request will be passed to the Bereavement Support Group.

ALL TAKE PLACE IN THE NEWMAN CENTRE, just off the church foyer or occasionally in the Lady Chapel.

Choir

The choir sing at the regular 10.00am Sunday Mass and other main liturgical Masses and events during the year. Please come along and join in - we sit in the section next to the church organ.

Cleaners

We have a voluntary cleaning rota that means that once a month the inside of the church is cleaned. Generally, this entails an hour on a Saturday morning every 6-8 weeks. If you would like to help the team with this please contact the parish office on 01189 693423 or email [email protected].

Tea/Coffee/Social

We serve refreshments after Mass on a Wednesday morning and Sunday Morning. The team also serves refreshments are parish celebrations too. A rota is in place and people help of a 4-6 week's basis. If you would like to help please email the office or call 01189 693423.
