Baptism

Baptism is the first of the Catholic Church’s seven sacraments, and is a pre-requisite for the other six. When a person is baptised, he or she becomes a member of the Church.

New or even prospective parents need to arrange to meet the priest, who will probably ask them to first attend a course of Baptism preparation. The course is held in the church centre and contains teaching about the Sacrament. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and meet other parishoners.
UPDATE:
Baptisms are now permitted subject to a limit on attendees. If you have a little one who is overdue for Baptism, please book in now via the parish office.
